Abstract:

In this study, the visualization practice of programs with visual production skills integrated with artificial intelligence, which is the beginning of a new revolution, was applied on a fairy tale and the resulting visual results were analyzed with a semiotic method. Artificial intelligence, which seems to come from a dystopian world and heralds a new revolution, finds a place in all fields today. The most important discussions of this great revolution include the field of art. The idea of another being producing art after humans has created great excitement and debate. Drawings have been the biggest supporter of narratives throughout history, and children's books have become an important part of this illustration adventure. Visualizing children's books requires more care than other book visualizations. Visuals should be prepared that children can easily perceive, can replace the text when necessary, and will strengthen children's cognitive and psychological development. The sample tale selected in this study was visualized using Adobe Phototoshop beta and Adobe Firefly programs. The created images were then analyzed using the semiotic method. Thus, an example has been constructed to understand the semiotic difference between the fairy tale visualization power of humans and the fairy tale visualization power of artificial intelligence.
