With the first five-year development plan in Turkey, the development of the country is predicted to be industrialized. In this context, within a certain plan, outside the cities, the organized industrial areas, the environment in which the industrial organizations work in cooperation that they benefit from the common infrastructure, have been seen as a means for the realization of rapid, easy and planned industrialization. For this purpose, many industrial areas have been established in Turkey.

The aim of this study is to geographically evaluate the relationships with the location and surroundings of companies in the Bafra Karma and Special Medical Organized Industrial Region in Samsun according to the industrial arms; to analyze the organization’s conditions, developments and potential.

In this study, the observation, survey and interview methods were applied and the findings obtained were used for SWOT analysis. The data obtained in the study was maped using CBS. According to this; the farming-based industry in the Bafra Karma and Medical Institute Organized Industrial Area near the efficient agricultural areas in Samsun province has emerged, but the investments are not at the expected level. Also, some organizations that operate in the manufacturing of food products have difficulty providing the necessary raw materials from here. Accordingly, it will be useful to implement methods that will increase productivity in agricultural production and to regulate contractual agriculture in a way that will satisfy both the farmer and the manufacturer.
