Bu araştırmada pandemi sürecinde turizm ve sağlık alanında aktif olarak yer alan akademisyenlerin iş tatmini ve performanslarındaki ilişkilerin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada, ayrıca, pandemi süreci alanyazınına katkıda bulunması amacıyla akademisyenlerin aileleri ile geçirmiş oldukları süre, sosyal aktivitelere ne kadar süre ayırdıkları ve hibrit eğitimle ilgili tutumlarıyla ilgili bulgular ortaya konmuştur. Araştırma anketi üç bölümden meydana gelmektedir. İlk bölümde demografik bilgiler, sonra iş tatmini ölçeği ve en son iş performansı ölçeği, araştırmamıza gönüllü olarak katılmayı kabul eden 400 akademisyene uygulanmıştır. Araştırmamızda SPSS 25 paket programı kullanılmış olup tanımlayıcı istatistikler, güvenilirlik analizi, t-testi, faktör analizi, anova testi, korelasyon ve regresyon analizleri uygulanmıştır. Araştırmamıza gönüllü olarak katılan akademisyenlerin; genel tatmin düzeyleri 3,86, performans düzeyleri 4,26, içsel tatmin düzeyleri 3,97 ve dışsal tatmin düzeyleri de 3,74 puan almıştır. Sonuç olarak, iş tatmin ölçeği ile performans arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı pozitif bir ilişki olduğu bulundu. Pandemi esnasında katılımcıların işe gidip gelmelerinde yaş ve medeni durumun etki ettiği, ayrıca iş tatmin ölçeği ve alt boyutlarında incelendiğinde uzaktan eğitim görme modelinin yüz yüze eğitim görme modelinden farkı olmadığını düşünülerin daha fazla sayıda olduğu yapılan analiz sonucunda saptandı.
This study aims to study the relationships in the work satisfaction and performance of academics who are actively involved in the tourism and health sector during the pandemic process. The study also found findings about the time academics spent with their families to contribute to the pandemic process, how much time they spent on social activities and their attitudes towards hybrid education. The research is made up of three sections. In the first section, demographic information, then the work satisfaction scale and the latest work performance scale were applied to 400 academics who agreed to participate voluntarily in our research. Our research has used the SPSS 25 package program and has applied identifying statistics, reliability analysis, t-test, factor analysis, anova test, correlation and regression analysis. The academics who participated voluntarily in our study received 3.86 overall satisfaction levels, 4.26 performance levels, 3.97 internal satisfaction levels and 3.74 external satisfaction levels. As a result, it was found that there was a statistically meaningful positive relationship between the scale of business satisfaction and performance. During the pandemic, the study found that the age and civilian status of the participants when they go to work and come to work, and that when the scale of employment satisfaction and the lower dimensions are studied, the model of distance learning is not different from the model of face-to-face learning.
The aim of this research is to examine the relationships between the job satisfaction and performance of academicians who are actively involved in the field of tourism and health during the pandemic period. Moreover, this research reveals the findings on the time spent with their families, the time spared for social activities and their attitude toward hybid education system in order to contribute to the literature on the pandemic period. The research consists of three parts. Demographic characteristics in the first part, job satisfaction scale in the second part, and job performance scale in the third part were applied to 400 academicians who voluntarily agreed to participate in our research. SPSS 25 package program was used in our research and descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, t-test, factor analysis, anova test, correlation and regression analyzes were applied. Of the academicians who voluntarily participated in our research; their general satisfaction level was 3.86, their performance level was 4.26, their internal satisfaction level was 3.97 and their external satisfaction level was 3.74. As a result, a statistically significant positive relationship was found between job satisfaction scale and performance. It was found that age and marital status affected the participants' commuting during the pandemic, and when the job satisfaction scale and its sub-dimensions were examined, there were more people who thought that the distance education model was no different from the face-to-face education model.
