Rusya’nın Ukrayna’ya yönelik 24 Şubat’ta başlattığı işgal, kısa sürede geniş çaplı bir savaşa dönüştü. Adı geçen savaş, uzun müddettir dünyanın en önemli gündem maddesi konumunda. Bunda, savaşın gıda güvenliği açısından yarattığı tehdidin de büyük payı var. Savaşın başlarında Rusya’nın kısa sü-rede zafer elde edeceği düşüncesi geniş biçimde kabul görmüştü. Bundan başka Ukrayna’nın gereken karşılığı veremeyeceği ve Rus ordusuna pek fazla direnemeyeceği de yüksek sesle dillendirilmekteydi. Ancak başta otoriteler olmak üzere, çok büyük bir kesimin ortaya koyduğu bu yaklaşımın hatalı oldu-ğu kısa sürede anlaşıldı. Ukrayna ordusu kendisinden beklenmeyecek şekilde oldukça başarılı bir mücadele ortaya koymakta, hatta Rusya’nın savaşın başlarında işgal ettiği pek çok bölgeyi birer birer geri almaktadır. Sovyetler sonrası dönemde Ukrayna’nın askerî anlamda yeni bir yapılanma içinde olduğu bilinmekteydi. Özel-likle Rusya’nın 2014 yılında Kırım bölgesini işgal etmesi, bu yapılanmanın hızlanmasını sağladı. Rus-ya’nın bölgede yayılmasının karşısını almak isteyen Batı dünyasının da bu gelişmedeki katkısı ol-dukça büyük. Burada Türkiye’nin rolünün özellikle belirtilmesi gerekiyor. Türkiye ile Ukrayna arasın-daki askerî ilişkilerin geçmişi, bağımsızlıktan hemen sonraki döneme tesadüf ediyor. Adı geçen ilişkile-rin geniş çaplı ve derin köklere sahip olduğu da unutulmamalıdır. Bu nedenle bugün Ukrayna ordusu-nun ortaya koyduğu direnişte Türkiye’nin çok önemli bir paya sahip olduğunu ifade edebiliriz. Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye-Ukrayna arasındaki askerî ilişkileri tüm detayları ile ortaya koymak ve bu arada bugünkü siyasî ve askerî olayları bahsettiğimiz eksende ele almaktır. Çalışmada arşiv belge-leri, ulusal gazeteler, zabıt cerideleri, resmî gazete, çeşitli kitap, makaleler vb. kaynaklardan istifade edilmiştir.
The Russian occupation of Ukraine on February 24 soon turned into a widespread war. The name of the war has long been in the position of the world’s most important agenda material. There is also a large part of the threat that the war creates in terms of food security. The idea that Russia would win in a short time at the beginning of the war was widely accepted. It was also spoken with a loud voice that Ukraine would not be able to give the necessary reward and that it would not be able to resist much to the Russian army. But the approach that a very large portion, including authorities, revealed in the beginning was wrong – it was soon understood. The Ukrainian army is showing a very successful struggle in an unexpected way, even taking back many of the areas that Russia occupied at the beginning of the war one by one. In the post-Soviet period, it was known that Ukraine was in a new military structure. In particular, the occupation of Crimea by Russia in 2014 made the construction faster. The contribution of the Western world to this development, which wants to face the spread of Russia in the region, is great. It is important to note the role of Turkey. The history of the military relations between Turkey and Ukraine is coincidental to the period immediately after independence. It should also not be forgotten that the name passed relations-rin has wide diameter and deep roots. Therefore, we can say today that in the resistance that the Ukrainian army has shown, Turkey has a very important role. The aim of this study is to reveal the military relations between Turkey and Ukraine with all the details and at the same time to address the current political and military events in the axis we discuss. In the study, archive documents, national newspapers, publications, official newspapers, various books, articles, etc. They are taken from sources.
