One of the poems given as reference to the history of udun in the hadiths and music-themed works published in Turkey is Lebîd b.Rebia's long poem called Muallaka. This reference is used in the Hz.Prophet's period or the Shetty period, when the place of music and specifically ud play is described in the hadiths. On the other hand, the historical research published in Turkey has shown that this issue has not yet been studied. The subject is important in terms of illuminating the history of the Middle East music, the Hicaz music history and the history of the U.D. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate that the poems of Muhadram Lebîd b.Rebia are not mentioned in a biddle in the hall of Lebîd b.Rebia. The word "kerîne" in his Muallaka is spoken by the word "kerîne" and this word "ud" is interpreted by various speakers, including the first. The result of this research has found that "kerîne" can be first and foremost a singer or player, that the said "kerîne" play that he plays is not "ud" but "chenk" play; in addition, that the play is not Hicaz, but Hîre-based play; that the word "muurreb" is not transmitted from Persian to Arabic.
