This article presents the edition of another copy, probably made in Augustan times, of the Antiochus letter already known from the Baitokaike dossier (IGLS VII 4028). The fragmentary inscription, which contains not only the royal letter but also an accompanying letter that is missing from the known dossier, came from the «Puchstein estate» to the Antikensammlung der Staatlichen Museen in Berlin and has so far remained unpublished. The king's letter and the accompanying letter are dated after the Seleucid era: 169 (ΞΡ). They appear to have been written in February/March 143 BC. As a result, Antiochos VI Epiphanes Dionysos can be identified as the sender of the royal letter, who had not previously been considered in the discussion about the date of the letter and the related construction history of the sanctuary of Baitokaike.
