Since the musical rhythm is a temporal frequency that pleases the ear, it is based on a group of musical instruments, and the most prominent of these tools are the Khalili activations, and the tuning based on them or that you perform at the level of poetic meters. It is part of the total rhythmic control in terms of the music of the text. It is not possible to achieve the musical control of the text by relying only on the activations. Rather, it is necessary to provide the tonal control feature, of which the tone of the letters is the main pillar. The research deals with the role of the letter Ra and its repetition within the musical tonal control feature as part of the overall musical rhythmic control in the poetry of Badr Shaker Al-Sayyab with its different purposes and different stages between romantic, realistic, figurative, and subjective poetry, all by selecting poetic models that belong to these stages, and then studying them. Analytical to find out the role of the letter Ra in it within the tonal control through its significance and its relationship to other letters as well, and through its interaction with the poetic purpose on the one hand and with the poetic images used in the text on the other hand, and the extent of its compatibility and compatibility with them.
