Today, the visible results of climate change cause environmental issues to be prioritized in all areas. Environmental acquisitions are included in the curriculum in compulsory education. According to Bloom's taxonomy, different levels of gains are necessary for learning skills at different levels. The new taxonomy examines information at the cognitive level in different categories, the information dimension and the cognitive level. The aim of this study is to analyze the environmental achievements that students encounter in science and biology lessons during 12 years of formal education and their analysis according to the renewed bloom taxonomy. As a result, it was determined that there were 39 gains at the cognitive level on the environment. When the results of the analysis are evaluated, it is remarkable for the subject such as environment that there is almost no gain in the application dimension.
