The purpose of this study was to develop the active learning tendency scale for academicians. In this study, general survey method which is one of the methods that are often used especially to describe a situation to be searched with wider groups, was applied in the research. The study was conducted with academicians in 2016-2017 academic years, autumn semester. The population of the research was Niğde University academicians. 126 academicians, who were selected according to purposive sampling method, took part in the study. As result of the analyzing data, active learning tendencı scale for academicians which had 18 items contained one factor and these factors explained %40.17 of total variance were developed.
