Abstract enIn recent years, studies of conceptual learning and misconceptions gained great important. One of the conclusion of these studies, misconception is obstacle for meaningful learning. One of the way removed this obstacle, absolutely these misconceptions should be determined and detected. The purpose of this study is to designate the misconceptions concerning the mass and weight. The study also aims to investigated how misconceptions formed according to level of class. A conception test containing open-ended and multiple choices questions was prepared and it was applied to the 6, 7 and 8 year primary school students. The results from data analyzing that students have some misconceptions about mass and weight.
