Özet:

Prof. Necati Öner (1927-2019) dedicated his life to both the research and education of philosophy and logic. He had important works on the area of logic. His doctorate and associate professorship studies were on logic. Öner has numerous works on the various problems of logic, recent period history of Turkish logic and philosophy of logic Öner predicated his works on the method of handling and treating subjects of the books that were written as suitable to the tradition of al-Farabi and Avicenna constituting upon the Aristotelian logic. He, moreover, tried to explain the thoughts of Western logicians comparatively. Öner had concerns about research and he had pedagogical aims in his works on logic. He used unsophisticated and plain language while handling the subjects of logic. In his works, there are similarities with the other books on logic; however, he discussed on the rare topics, as well. The proposer, who has significant effect on the education of philosophy and logic in the Republic period, contributed greatly on the development of philosophical thought and culture academically.
