Abstract:

In this this study, the effects of wood vinegar obtained from hazelnut shells and poultry litter on corn plant yield and yield components with different applications. The application was carried out as a one year field trial in Ankara Sincan Yenikent District, with 60 plots, 10 treatment subjects, and 3 replications, according to the Split Plots in Randomized Blocks Trial Design. Seeds coated with wood vinegar, foliar application of wood vinegar, application to the soil at doses of %1 and %0,5 to the soil, and applications as a control group were made for both wood vinegars. In the statistical analysis conducted according to the research results, wood vinegar applications did not have a significant effect on plant height and plant cob length, but plant fresh weight, green plant biomass in the plot, green plant biomass per decare, dry matter ratio in the incubator, dry matter biomass per decare, cob weight and cob weight. has increased its diameter significantly. Studies should be conducted at different doses and on different plants to determine the effects of wood vinegar on yield and yield parameters.
