Key Words : Reparative granuloma, diastema The aim of this study was to investigate the etiological factors of the hyperplasia of the granulation tissue and the relation between clinical and histopathological diagnosis. A case report of peripheral giant cell reparative granuloma located on the area of maxOier central incisors of a 7-year-old girl is presented. The granuloma is examined clinically and pathologically and we observed that after the operation and the tissue healing the existing diastema was closed.

A peripheral giant cell-reparative granuloma occurring in a 7-year-old girl, which caused diasthesis between the upper mid-cutting teeth, was clinically and pathologically studied and observed that the existing diasthesis was quickly closed after enzyme and tissue recovery.
