Abstract:

That another important feature that characterizes the environment of Gazakh ashugs is the emergence of different versions of saz melodies. Analysis of the differences and similarities of ashug airs performed in Gazakh, the principles of tuning allows to classify their invariants. Also, Gazakh attracts attention at the ashug school with its different versions of classical saz airs – “Ruhani”, “Bahmani”, “Yanig Kerami”, “Mansiri” and others from Goycha and Borchali environments. In particular, the artists living in the Inja gorge have some similarities with the Borchali ashug environment in the style of air, but there are differences in the style of performance. That the Gazakh ashug environment, especially the master Adalat Nasibov, played a great role in the development of twentieth-century Azerbaijani instrumental music – solo performance. Today, soloists in the South and North proudly consider themselves students of Dada Adalat, followers of the School of Justice. While classical tunes such as “Ruhani” and “Yanig Kerami” were performed in only one version, Ashug Adalat Nasibov created different versions.
