In this study, it is aimed to investigate the relationship between social support perceived by sports manager candidates and social support expectations in social networks. The study group consists of 283 students (175 males and 108 females and average age 21.5) studying at Manisa Celal Bayar University Faculty of Sport Sciences Department of Sports Management. As the data collection tool, the scales of “Multidimensional Perceived Social Support (ÇBASD)” developed by Zimet et al., (1990) and “Expectation of Social Support in Social Networks (SASDB)” were used. As a result of the findings obtained, a significant difference was found in favor of women in a specific human sub-dimension of MPASD according to the gender variable. On the other hand, in the comparisons made in terms of a class variable, a significant difference was found in favor of the last classes. In the correlation analysis results, positive relationships were determined between the social support expectations of the participants from the social networks and the sub-dimensions of the perceived social support scale. As a result, it is seen that the level of social support perceived by university students with a high level of social support expectations in social networks has increased. In this context, it is seen that university youth need to be more conscious about internet use and to feel the support they receive from their families.
