Abstract:

The field of research on the Zazas has been colonized for two hundred years, by Orientalists, Kemists and Western researchers. The information produced in this scope is now used as the main source in research on Zazalar. The political nature of the produced information contains serious warnings regarding the use of the information. However, the researchers use this information as scientific information. In research, the identities of Western researchers are ignored, with what intentions and motivations they came to the area. However, these characteristics are of unavoidable importance because they penetrate information in the processes of information production. This study has studied the German orientalists and studies conducting research on the Zazalas. The study suggests that the Zazas of the German Orientalists have been converted into an object of the Aryan engineering designed to provide the Germans with their unique and superiority in Europe. Therefore, it reminds the researchers that it is the moral responsibility of the scientist to rely on the heritage of the Zazas who are exposed to the orientalistic and assimilationist production of information.
