Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the psychometric characteristics of the Turkish forum of the Psychological Flexibility Scale, which measures the psychological flexibility of individuals. The psychological flexibility scale was developed by Francis, Dawson and Golijani-Moghaddam (2016). The study was conducted with 310 adult individuals participating. According to the opening factor analysis by the SPSS 22.0 package program, the model consisting of 28 matters and five dimensions is estimated to have good compatibility values (KMO = 0.789; X2 = 3096.080; p = 0.00). The factor load of the scale is ranged between .47 and .81. The scale describes 60% of the variation. The Cronbach Alfa internal consistency reliability ratio was found at .79. The obtained data showed that the adapted psychological flexibility measurement is a valid and reliable measurement tool for measuring the psychological flexibility of adults in Turkey.
