Bu çalışma, Türkiye’de yaşayan tüketicilerin devlet tarafından uygulanmaya başlayan plastik poşet ücretlendirilmesine yönelik tutum ve davranışlarını belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma, Karaman ilinde yaşayan kişiler arasından kolayda örnekleme yöntemi belirlenen 346 tüketici ile yapılmıştır. Veriler anket yöntemi ile toplanmıştır. Bu veriler istatistik paket programıyla frekans-yüzde, faktör, ANOVA, t-testi ve ki-kare analizlerine tabi tutularak değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, plastik poşet kullanımının çevreye verdiği zararın tüketiciler tarafından bilindiği ancak yinede kullanılmaya devam edildiği, yasal düzenleme sonucu oluşturulan devlet yaptırımı plastik poşet kullanımının azaltılmasında etkili olduğu ortaya konulmuştur. Fakat bu olumlu tutumun daha ileriye götürülebilmesi için, plastik poşetlerin ücretlerinin çevre fonuna yatırılarak bu konuda yapılan çalışmalar konusunda tüketicilere bilgi verilmesi, plastik poşetlerin oluşturduğu çevre kirliliği konusunda eğitimler verilerek tüketicilerin bilinç düzeylerinin arttırılması gerekmektedir. Çalışma, yerli literatürde plastik poşet ücretlendirilmesi ile ilgili yapılan ilk çalışmalardan olduğu için özgünlük taşımaktadır.
The aim of this study, plastic bags began to be implemented by the state to determine the attitudes and behavior of consumers living in Turkey for the charge. The research was conducted with 346 consumers who were easily sampled among the people living in Karaman province. The data was collected by questionnaire method. These data were analyzed by frequency-percentage, factor, ANOVA, t-test and chi-square analysis with statistical package program. As a result of the research, it was revealed that the harm caused to the environment by the use of plastic bags is known by the consumers but they continue to be used, and the state sanction created as a result of the legal regulation is effective in reducing the use of plastic bags. However, in order to improve this positive attitude, the fees of plastic bags should be invested in the environmental fund and the consumers should be informed about the studies carried out on this issue, and the level of awareness of the consumers should be increased by providing training on the environmental pollution caused by the plastic bags. The study is original because it is one of the first studies on the pricing of plastic bags in domestic literature.
