Aim: In this study we aimed to represent the results of student feedbacks of three years about basic clinical skills in Selcuk University Meram Faculty of Medicine. Material-Method: Student feedbacks in 2005-2006, 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 academic years were assessed, retrospectively. Anonymous and voluntary feedback forms had nine sentences about the clinical skill education. Every sentence had three rating points as “agree, not sure and disagree”. Results: In total 9667 student feedbacks for 30 basic clinical skills education were evaluated. Most of the students (90.5%) noted that place and the duration was adequate for the education of the skill. In respect to feeling of competency 93.3% of the students reported they felt themselves competent after the education. The belief about the usefulness of the basic clinical skill education was increasing with the increase in the educational year. Conclusions: The results of this study show a satisfaction of students about basic clinical skills education. But the competency of students after education and usefulness of these skills should be evaluated via different assessment methods.
