Objective: The aim of the study was to determine nursing students' opinions related to scenario/computerized simulation method's usage in skill education. Materials and Method: Semi-structured focus group interviews containing six questions were used in this study. Sampling constituted 24 voluntary students of a nursing school and three focus group interviews were conducted with each of groups that included 8 students. Results: Majority of students stated that skill development training in laboratory and classroom environment before the clinical practice were useful. However; they though that pre-clinical education was insufficient due to using un-programmable manikins at the skill laboratory and inadequate number of manikins per student. Most students stated that they felt incompetent at the skill practices during clinical practice at the hospital; therefore they experienced problems with nurses, patients and health team members. Conclusion: Owing to student's positive opinions toward usage of simulation teaching strategies and this educational strategy will contribute to improvement in students' clinical skills, students can practice with self-confidence and consequently contribute to educate selfconfident nurses.
