Olguların 13’ü (%92.9) erkek, 1’i (%7.1) kadındır. Saptanan olguların tamamı 15 yaş üstüdür. Etken, Nisan, Mayıs, Haziran ve Aralık aylarında sık görülmekle beraber neredeyse tüm aylarda saptanmıştır. Çalışmamızda yerli sıtma vakası tespit edilmemiş olup olguların tamamı Afrika ülkeleri (Nijerya, Somali, Tanzanya, Ekvator) kökenlidir. Sonuç: Bu çalışma ile ilimizdeki değişen sıtma epidemiyolojisinin belirlenebileceğine ve hastalığa karşı koruyucu önlemlerin alınmasına yönelik çalışmalara katkı sağlayacağını düşünmekteyiz. Purpose: Infection is a parasitic disease that causes significant mortality and morbidity in our country and in the world. Our state has been done to investigate the epidemic of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state of the state. Method: In the province of Mersin, between the years 2012-2017, the Provincial Health Directorate Public Health Laboratory Reproduction Unit took blood samples with active and passive surveillance with fine spread and thick drops method. Plasmodium identified samples have been identified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) in the Ankara Public Health Reference Laboratory. With Surveyans studies, 65 169 blood samples of people who travel or work in the province and African countries (Nigeria, Somalia, Tanzania, Uganda, Ecuador) have been studied in terms of demographic characteristics. In this study, the distribution of the symptoms of stumbling was assessed according to the years, age groups, months diagnosed and the type of stumbling. Results: 14 positive examples were identified in terms of conversion. In 13 (92.9) cases, Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium falciparum + Plasmodium malaria mix infection were identified in one (7.1). 13 of the cases (92.9) are men and 1 (7.1) are women. All cases are over 15 years of age. The factor is often observed in April, May, June and December, but it has been detected in almost all months. In our study, no case of indigenous melting has been detected and all of the cases are from African countries (Nigeria, Somalia, Tanzania, Ecuador). The result: We believe that this study will contribute to the study of the changing epidemicology in our province and the study of preventive measures against the disease.
