The aim of this study is to examine the researches about educational sciences published in international academic journals from Ebsco, Eric, Wiley Online Library electronic databases in terms of content and methodology and to present their general tendencies. For this purpose, 69 articles published in the field of educational sciences between the years of 1998 and 2009, the age of sampling, the gender of the authors and the number of participants in a study, the research topics, journals and universities, It was investigated. According to the results, it was found that the researches were carried out at the higher education level and that the research samples were selected from the United States of America, respectively, from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Taiwan and Canada. On the other hand, in terms of content, the tendency is mostly the theory and method-oriented learning theme, in which the most constructivist learning subject is discussed, the universities which are researched outside the Netherlands are diversified, the most interview technique is used in the data collection, It is seen that descriptive and procedural analyzes are mostly used in data analysis
