Birinci basamak sağlık hizmetleri etkin kullanılması ikinci basamak sağlık hizmetlerinde yoğunluğu azaltır. Sağlıklı Hayat Merkezlerini birinci basamak sağlık hizmeti olarak 2014 yılında kurulmuştur. Sağlık Bakanlığının en genç kurumlarından birisi olan Sağlıklı Hayat Merkezine tercih edilme sebepleri ile ilgili alandaki çalışma eksikliğini kapatmaya yönelik ilk çalışma olan bu çalışmanın amacı Karaman ilinde bulunan Sağlıklı Hayat Merkezinden hizmet alan bireylerin tercih sebeplerinin araştırmaktır. Nicel araştırma yöntemleri kullanılan bu çalışma bir alan araştırmasıdır ve 273 birey ile tamamlanmıştır. Frekans, yüzde ve korelasyon analizlerine bakılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda Sağlıklı Hayat Merkezine başvuran hastaların tercihlerini etkileyen en önemli kriterlerin sırasıyla; ücret kriteri, bilgilendirme ve iyi bir iletişim, sıra bekleme süresi ve bürokrasinin az olması, yakın ve kolay ulaşılabilir olması, modern cihazların bulunması ve binanın temizliği yüksek derecede önemli tercih sebebi olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

The first study aimed at closing the lack of work in the field on the reasons for preference to the Healthy Life Center, one of the youngest institutions of the Ministry of Health, is the purpose of this study is to investigate the reasons for preference of individuals serving from the Healthy Life Center in Karaman province. Nicel research methods used this study is a field research and is completed with 273 individuals. Frequency, percentage and correlation analysis. According to the study, the most important criteria affecting the preferences of patients applying to the Healthy Life Center are: wage criteria, information and good communication, short waiting time and bureaucracy, close and easy to reach, the availability of modern devices and the cleanliness of the building are a very important choice.

As a result of the study, the most important criteria that affect the preferences of the patients applying to the Healthy Life Center are; wage criteria, information and good communication, queue waiting time and low bureaucracy, close and easily accessible, modern equipment and cleanliness of the building were found to be highly important reasons for choice.
