Concept map expressed as a diagram of key thoughts and makes the relations between concepts, facilitates meaningful learning. Critical thinking skills of the student who is successful in interlinking knowledge increase and she decides rightly. The concept map provides students to develop the whole from the components or reproduce new wholes by dividing the whole. Concept maps, which enable usage of nursing process by nursing students, may help them approach their patients whom they have given care as a whole. The case discussion and nursing care plan of a patient with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus were showed over concept map. At discussion that was made over concept map, nursing diagnosis and nursing interventions that were planned and related with these diagnoses were discussed.
