Abstract:

In the history of Islam the the common name of the texts which instruct aspects of rule and behaviour are “Siyasatnama” (aka. Mirror for Princes). This texts aim is to provide advices about rulers, government, administration and the troubles facing the nation. In that respect Siyasatnamas took attention by the politicians and those concerned with politics and many examples of genre has been written in a short time. One of the prominent example of genre is Nizam alMulk‟s “Siyar al-Muluk” (The Lives of the Kings). This text should be examined with scrutiny since the writer Nizamülmülk is the most important political figure and organizer at the establishment of Great Seljuki State. Therefore many academic studies have been carried out. However in this studies “intelligence” side of this text which emphasised generally and also under every chapter has been neglected.
