Abstract:

People’s Republic of China could be considered as the headquarters of manufacturing in the whole world. Thus, any news becomes widespread more than other countries. Especially because of the reason that the country is governed by Communist Party which is only one of its kind, it bears suspicions about it in the eyes of the other countries. For that reason, any study about China starts with negative convictions especially about freedom. But the fact that China is economically capitalist indicates that whatever others perceive about this country is most probably wrong. So, the overgeneralization about this country should be taken into consideration once more. China is one of the ancient civilizations in the world. In its own history, they experienced many bloody revolutions and for the time being, they do not want to experience such problems once more. So, they are very cautious about potential problems. Its governance by only one communist party is harshly criticized by the western countries whose democratic institutions are well-established. What the western world criticizes China most is the violations of human rights, freedom of press and the oppressions to the ethnic groups.
