Bu çalışmada, Bulgar tarihinin Osmanlı dönemine ilişkin çeşitli incelemelerde sürekli olarak yalnızca kaydedilmiş ancak şu zamana kadar yorumlanmamış Bulgar müstensihlerinin ve yazarlarının XIV. asrın sonundan başlayarak 1878 yılına kadar Osmanlı padişahlarına verdikleri “çar” unvanın çeşitli varyantları incelenmektedir. İncelemede, söz konusu olgunun kaydedildiği ilk kaynaklar hangi döneme ve hangi bölgeye ait olduğu, bu olgunun ortaya çıkmasına sebep olan faktörlerin ne olduğu, “çar” unvanının erken Osmanlı’nın kimlik mitleriyle alakası olup olmadığı irdelenmiştir. Makalede, o dönemde yaşayan farklı Bulgar yazarlarının metinleri incelendiğinde dil ve tarihsel analizler üzerinden “çar” unvanın kullanılışında XIV. ve XV. yüzyıllarda Bulgar Orta Çağ toplumu arasında Balkanların Osmanlı tarafından fethine dair görüş ve tutum farklılıklarının olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
In this study, in various reviews of the Ottoman period of Bulgarian history, continuously recorded only but not yet interpreted Bulgarian artists and writers XIV. From the end of the century to the year 1878 the various variants of the title they gave to the Ottoman princes are studied. In the review, the first sources in which the incident was recorded were determined to which period and to which region it belonged, what are the factors that caused the occurrence of this incident, whether the title of the "character" was related to the myths of identity of the early Ottoman. In the article, when the texts of different Bulgarian writers who lived in that period were studied, the title was used through language and historical analyses. and XV. In the centuries, the Bulgarian Middle Ages have come to the conclusion that there have been differences in views and attitudes on the conquest of the Balkans by the Ottoman.
In this study, we examine the various variants of the royal title of “Tsar,” which have given to the Ottoman sultans from the end of the 14th century until 1878, by Bulgarian authors and scribals (amanuenses), who have been consistently had some records, yet never interpreted. The study scrutinizes respectively the questions of where and which period were the first sources of examined case belonged, and what are the matter of facts that led to the emergence of this expression, and also, whether or not, had the title of “Tsar” had a relation with the identity myths of the early Ottoman community. The study has conclusions after the investigation on quotes of the title of “Tsar” amongst different Bulgarian authors and scribals that there were differences as opinions and attitudes regarding the issue of Balkan conquest of the Ottoman State between different Bulgarian Medieval societies by linguistic and historical analyses.
