OKUL ÖNCESİ ÖĞRETMENLERİNİN DERSLERDE DRAMAYA YER VERME DURUMLARININ İNCELENMESİ

Abstract:

Bu araştırmada, Okul Öncesi Öğretmenlerinin günlük eğitim akışlarında dramaya yer vermeleri,  drama tekniklerini kullanmalarına dönük algılarının ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yönteminden fenomenoloji deseni kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu Ankara il merkezi Etimesgut ilçesinde bulunan Şehit Seçkin Çil Anaokulu öğretmenleri oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak görüşme yönteminden yararlanılmıştır. Toplanan Verilerin analizinde içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Okul Öncesi Öğretmenlerinin, ders programlarında dramaya sıklıkla yer vermekte oldukları, dramanın çocukların gelişimlerine olan katkılarının değer ve öneminin farkında oldukları sonucuna varılmıştır. Bu araştırmanın sonucunda; okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin drama eğitimi aldığı, hazır planda yer alan drama etkinliklerinin dışında eklemek istedikleri drama etkinliğini kendisinin planladıkları görülmüştür. Drama etkinliğini planlarken sırasıyla en çok çocukların yaş seviyelerine, gelişim özelliklerine, ilgisine, gereksinimlerine ve bireysel farklılıklarına dikkat ettikleri, drama etkinliğini planlarken en çok çocukların kendilerini ifade edebilmelerini sağlamayı, yaratıcılıklarını geliştirmeyi amaçladıkları belirlenmiştir. Öğretmenlerin drama konusunda sürekli devam eden eğitimler almaya ihtiyaç duydukları sonucuna varılmıştır.

Abstract:

This study aims to reveal the perceptions of pre-school teachers about taking the drama into their daily educational flows, using the drama techniques. In the study, the phenomenological design was used from the quality research method. The work group is made up of teachers of the Şehit Seçkin Çil Kindergarten, located in the province center of Ankara Etimesgut district. The method is used as a data collection tool. In the analysis of the data collected, content analysis was used. The conclusion is that pre-school teachers often participate in the drama in their curriculum and realize the value and importance of the drama’s contribution to the development of children. According to this study, the pre-school teachers have planned the drama event they want to add out of the drama events in the prepared plan, which they have received drama training. When planning the drama event, the most children pay attention to their age levels, development features, interests, needs and individual differences, while planning the drama event, the most children are intended to ensure that they can express themselves, to develop their creativity. The teachers have to find the conclusion that they need continuous training on drama.

In this study, it is aimed to reveal the perceptions of Preschool Teachers to include drama in daily education flows and to use drama techniques. Phenomenology pattern, one of the qualitative research patterns, was used in the study. The working group consists of the teachers of Şehit Seçkin Çil Kindergarten in the city of Ankara, Etimesgut. Interview method was used as a data collection tool. Content analysis was used in the analysis of the collected data. It is concluded that Preschool Teachers frequently include drama in their curriculum and are aware of the value and importance of drama's contribution to children's development. As a result of this research; It has been observed that preschool teachers receive drama training and plan the drama activity they want to add in addition to the drama activities in the ready plan. It was determined that while planning the drama activity, they mostly pay attention to the age levels, developmental characteristics, interest, needs and individual differences of the children, and while planning the drama activity, they mostly aimed to ensure that the children can express themselves and develop their creativity. It is concluded that teachers need to receive ongoing trainings on drama.
