Abstract:

An important transition in a person's life and also called a crisis period, adolescence is seen as a stage that both the teenager and other family members must adapt. In this period, the attention of the consultancy services that will be offered to ergene and his family in particular issues is high. With regard to the applications and literature, the importance of school social services professionals among the professionals who offer this service is highlighted, where these services are offered by school-oriented studies. This study aims to identify the views of teenagers and parents who are educated at high school in the existing system on the practices of school social services and to reveal the need for these practices. The model of the study was defined as a karma method and quantitative data from the subject was obtained from the adulter, the quality data from the parents. The study’s quantitative sample is made up of 450 adolescents who continue to high school and the qualified work group is made up of 10 parents, including 6 mothers and 4 fathers. According to the data obtained as a result of conversations with parents through the survey form applied to adolescents and semi-structured interview form, the adolescents and parents are looking for solutions to the problems they experience and one of these solutions is that they need to be advised through schools. At this point, the implementation of social services practices in the school environment is understood as a service that will be appropriate to these demands of parents and adolescents and there are recommendations for this.
