Abstract:

Ecolecurity is a criticism flow that creates critical perspectives in the theoretical fields of literature, analysing the relations between the elements of nature and literature. Ekoelestiri, taking into account the conditions of use of the elements related to the environment and the symbols related to nature in literary works, uses the concepts produced by these sciences in the literary field, also using other disciplines of science. From an ecological point of view, this study will explore the relationships between literature and nature and address verbal narratives, written texts or visual products within an ecological consciousness framework. Through the examples of Grandfather's Horror Stories, literary works will be open to discussion on how much the stories will contribute to nature. The main objective of the eco-educational approach is also to study the perspective found in the traditional world views on nature. From the fact that the narratives produced in the oral culture environment and the environmental sensitivity will have a positive impact on the future generations who read these narratives in this study the elements related to nature in the Dede Horror Stories and the approach of the cultural environment to nature in which Dede Horror Story was created, has been evaluated and studied from an ecological point of view. Because literary texts are important resources that provide past living conditions and human habits in harmony with the environment, they effectively transmit to future generations how to live in harmony with nature and how to create a sustainable lifestyle. It is possible to create an ecological peace environment by using the Turkish mythological perspective and the oral/written narrative.
