Abstract:

The relationship of language with mental processes has been a concept that, in addition to the various disciplines such as psychology, neuroscience, language science has been on the ground in recent years and has been explained in a variety of ways. In the understanding of the mental activities of a person, language is the basic tool in the outbreak of the thinking processes. In cognitive language science, the term mental facts is used for the facts reporting mental processes (consciousness, cognitive, emotional). In literature, it is often divided into three classes: (1) perceptive (sensitive) facts (2) cognitive (sensitive) facts and (3) emotional facts. Cognitive facts represent mental-made thinking processes, including “understanding”, “knowing”, “thinking”, “forgetting”, “memory”, “learning”, “solving problems”, “decision”. In this study, the historic Turkish Kıpçak was focused on the knowledge facts in the existence of the Turkish word. In the study, information facts were identified with the scan of the Turkish Dictionary and other historical period works (47) in which the historical Kıpçak Turkish word existence was thoroughly addressed. These facts, which are subject to examination, are subjected to a detailed semantic classification. The structure, meaning and origin characteristics of the knowledge facts addressed by the historic-comparative method are revealed. Thus, it has been seen that the knowledge facts that reflect the world of thought and mind of the Kipchak society have been preserved from the ancient Turkish period and formed an important word existence. The Kıpçak Turkish knowledge facts, in the trace of the Old Turkish, compared with Karahanlı, Harezm, Çağatay Turkish, this rich word existence has been revealed. In this context, the common mind world that the Turkish communities have from the past to the present, in connection with the mental process, has been prompted by movement from the historical Kıpçak texts.
