Abstract:

A new strategy has been developed to the best results at the lowest cost in health care and to bring the value to the highest level for patients. Since the main goal of value-based healthcare is to create value for patients, the way to this goal is the measurement of patient results. Understanding the results has a central importance in providing value. Measurement and reporting of results to succeed in a changing competitive environment is seen as an advantage because it encourages the improvement and adoption of best practices. Due to reliable result measurements, the efficiency will increase throughout the comprehensive maintenance cycle, the results will become comparable and the process will improve. The aim of this study is to explain the importance of measuring patient results, which is one of the two components of value in the value-based health care application, and the various methods that are effective in measuring the result. As a result of this literature study, various methods on the subject have been obtained and studied, and recommendations have been made on which methods to be done in which studies.
