BIST-100 Endeksinde Ocak Ayı Anomalisinin Güç Oranı Yöntemiyle Test Edilmesi

Abstract:

Etkin Piyasalar Hipotezi’ne göre tüm bilgilere eşit oranda erişebilen yatırımcılardan hiçbirinin diğerlerinden fazla getiri elde etmesi mümkün değildir. Ancak yapılmış olan birçok çalışmada getiriler üzerinde zamanın etkisi ortaya konmuş ve hipotez ile çelişen sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır. Bu kapsamda mevcut olan anomalilerinönemlilerinden biri de Ocak ayı anomalisidir. Bu çalışmada BIST-100 endeksinde 2008-2014 döneminde Ocak ayı anomalisinin görülüp görülmediği güç oranı yöntemi kullanılarak araştırılmıştır. Yapılan analiz neticesinde BIST-100 endeksinde ilgili dönemde Ocak ayı anomalisinin varlığı tespit edilmiştir
