Abstract:

The purpose of the study is to study the effects of a teaching design developed in accordance with the FeTeMM approach that can be used in the education of special skilled students. The pattern used in the research is a experimental design embedded in the research patterns of the karma method. In the study, 9 girls in the experiment group, 12 men and 8 girls in the control group, 12 men, 5-6-7-8. It has worked with 41 special skilled students studying in the classroom. Students are determined according to the typical case sample method. In the experimental group, the teaching design prepared in accordance with the FeTeMM approach, the control group applied the standard activities in the BILSEMs. Quantum data was collected through the Context Based Scientific Creativity Test (BTBYT) developed by researchers and analyzed using the SPSS 22 Package Program. Qualitative data was collected through observation and interview forms and analyzed through the Nvivo 11 program. The implementation of the teaching design based on the FeTeMM approach has resulted in a statistically significant difference between the experiment and control groups in terms of the BTBYT scores. Qualitative findings have shown that engineering skills and scientific process skills are more used and more developed over the course of the process than controlled in the experiment group. According to the results, FeTeMM activities may be recommended to be more used in the education of special talented students and to be enriched in such a way that ITILSEM activities books will include more such activities.
