Bu derlemede göçün kadın ve çocuk sağlığına etkileri anlatılmaktadır. Göçler daha çok doğal afetler, siyasi gelişmeler, terör, güvenlik sorunları ve sosyo-ekonomik sebeplerle gerçekleşmektedir. Kadınlara özgü göç nedenleri arasında sıklıkla ailenin göç etmesi yer almaktadır. Ayrıca son 40 yıl içerisinde göç eden kadın ile erkek göçmen sayısı eşit düzeye gelmiştir. Göç, t oplumu ve bireyleri fiziksel, sosyal ve kültürel olarak etkilemekte, önemli sağlık sorunlarına neden olmaktadır. Riskli gruplar arasında yer alan kadınlar ve çocuklar göç sürecinin olumsuz sonuçlarınaçok maruz kalan bireyler olmaktadır.
In this book we discuss the effects of migration on the health of women and children. Migrations are mostly caused by natural disasters, political developments, terrorism, security issues and socio-economic reasons. Some of the reasons for women’s immigration often include the family’s immigration. In the last 40 years, the number of women and men immigrants has increased equally. Immigration, t opluma and individuals are affected physically, socially and culturally, causing significant health problems. Women and children among the risky groups are individuals who are highly exposed to the negative consequences of the immigration process.
