Osmanlı Devleti’nin neredeyse son bir iki asırlık tarihi ve Cumhuriyet manzumesi modernleşme paradigması bağlamında ele alınmaktadır. Türkiye modernleşmesi ile ilgili akademik üretim dolayısıyla bitimsiz şekilde yapılmaktadır. Hem devlet organizasyonunu tamamlayan alanlarda bırakmış olduğu derin izler hem de hâlihazırda alanların bu etkin paradigma ruhu üzerinden şekillenmesi, kavramın popülerliğini canlı tutmaktadır.
Almost the last two centuries of the Ottoman State's history and the Republic's signature are addressed in the context of the modernization paradigm. The academic production of the modernization of Turkey is done unfinished. The profound traces he has left in the areas that complete the state organization and the formation of the fields already through this effective paradigm spirit keeps the popularity of the concept alive.
