Traditions are social rituals that create a society by bringing human communities together on a common ground. The smallest building unit and cultural transmitter of the society is the family. For this reason, the concept of family is highly valued in Turkish culture. The creation of a family is also announced with many other rituals such as asking, engagement, wedding, henna night, and leaving a bride. This ritual shows all the regional differences in Turkey. Despite local differences, the most important common feature of wedding rituals is that these rituals are highly valued in all societies and celebrated with various entertainment ceremonies. Wedding entertainment also in Çankırı Kızılırmak; since the past, it continues to be applied without losing its social value, showing some changes according to the conditions of the time. In this study, the rituals of the henna night and bride taking ceremony in Kızılırmak district of Çankırı were collected as a result of the compilation studies carried out in the field. This information consists of the 14 resource people we interviewed, as well as the 4 old source videos and photos we obtained during the field study. The criteria of residing in the region for a long time, knowing the wedding tradition of the region well, experiencing the traditions personally for many years and living in such families were taken as the basis for the selection of resource persons. In our field study, pre-prepared questions were asked to the resource persons' homes and their answers were recorded. The collected materials were both recorded on a tape recorder and transcribed. Some of the source people hesitated to speak when they heard that their voices would be recorded, and when it was stated that their voices would not be published and the recordings would be written and used, they agreed to provide information with audio recording. Materials of our study; The recorded sound recordings create video recordings and photographs in the homes of resource persons.
