Bu araştırmanın amacı, Finlandiya’da öğrenim görmekte olan üniversite öğrencilerinin yalnızlık ve mutluluk düzeylerinin belli başlı bazı demografik değişkenler düzeyine göre farklılık gösterip göstermediğinin tespit edilmesidir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak anket yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma örneklemini Kajaani Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören 256 öğrenci oluşturmaktır. Veriler, kolayda örnekleme yöntemi ile toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler, SPSS 22.0 ve AMOS 21.0 programı (DFA) kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada kullanılan bağımsız örneklem t testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) sonucuna göre öğrencilerin yalnızlık ve mutluluk düzeylerinin medeni durum, yaş, aylık kişisel gelir, aylık hane geliri, annenin eğitim durumu ve babanın eğitim durumuna göre farklılık gösterdiği; fakat cinsiyete göre farklılık göstermediği tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda mutluluk ve yalnızlık düzeylerinin bazı demografik değişkenlere göre farklılaştığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
The aim of this study is to determine whether the levels of loneliness and happiness of university students studying in Finland differ according to the levels of some major demographic variables. In the research, the survey method was used as a data collection tool. The research sample is to create 256 students studying at Kajaani University. The data is easily collected through the sampling method. The data collected was analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 21.0 (DFA). According to the independent sampling test and one-way variance analysis (ANOVA), the levels of loneliness and happiness of students vary according to the state of civilisation, age, monthly personal income, monthly household income, mother’s educational status and father’s educational status; but they do not vary according to gender. The study found that the levels of happiness and loneliness vary according to some demographic variables.
The pourpose of this study is to determine whether the level of loneliness and happiness of universty students studying in Finland differs according to certain demographic variables. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 21.0 (DFA) program. According to the independent sample t test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) use in the study, the loneliness and happiness levels of the students differed according to marital status, age, monthly personal income, monthly household income, mother education status and father education status. But did not differ according to student’s gender. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the levels of happiness and loneliness differ according to some demographic variables.
