Ölüm, hayatın kaçınılmaz bir gerçeğidir. Doğmak ve yaşamak ne kadar tabii ise ölüm de o kadar tabii ve hakikattir. İnsanoğlu yaşadığı müddetçe bu gerçeğin farkındadır. Farkındalığının azaldığı durumlarda, yakınındaki bir kişinin yahut bir diğer canlının ölümü üzerine kişide bu bilinç yeniden canlanır. Temelde maddi bir şey olan ölüm, mahiyeti itibariyle özellikle filozofların, teologların ve sanatçıların temel meselelerinden bir olmuştur. Sanatkâr, yaşamı herkesten daha fazla derinlemesine idrak eden, gözlemleri, duyuş ve sezişleri en fazla olan kişidir. Bu durumda ölüm sanatçıların elinde biyolojik bir hadise olmaktan çıkmış, bir estetik değer ve anlam kazanmıştır. Ölüm meselesini yoğun bir şekilde işleyen sanatçılarımızdan bir tanesi de hiç kuşkusuz Yahya Kemal’dir. Çalışmamızda bir temel olması bakımından, Türk şiirinde ölüm konusunun nasıl bir çizgide ilerlediği hususunda genel bir değerlendirme yapılmış, ardından şairin Kendi Gök Kubbemiz adlı kitabında yer alan şiirlerinde ölüm temasını nasıl ele aldığını incelenmiştir.
Death is the inevitable truth of life. The more natural it is to be born and to live, the more natural it is to be death. The human being is aware of this truth as long as he lives. In cases where consciousness decreases, this consciousness is resuscitated in the person after the death of a person or other living person. Death, which is essentially material, has become one of the fundamental matters of philosophers, theologists and artists in particular. Artist is the person who understands life more deeply than everybody else, who has the most observations, sensations and sensations. In this case, death came out of being a biological event in the hands of the artists, gained a aesthetic value and meaning. One of our artists who worked intensely on the issue of death is undoubtedly Yahya Kemal. As a foundation in our work, a general assessment was made on how the subject of death progressed on a line in Turkish poetry, and then the poet examined how the subject of death was addressed in his poems in his book, Kendi Gök Kubbemiz.
Death is an inevitable fact of life. The more natural it is to be born and to live, the more natural and true is death. As long as man lives, he is aware of this fact. In cases where the awareness decreases, this consciousness revives in the death of a person nearby or another living creature. Death, which is basically a material thing, has been one of the main issues of philosophers, theologians and artists, in particular in nature. The artist is the person who understands life more deeply than anyone and has the most observations, feelings and intuition. In this case, death has ceased to be a biological phenomenon in the hands of the artists and gained an aesthetic value and meaning. Yahya Kemal is undoubtedly one of our artists who dealt with the issue of death intensely. In terms of being a basis in our study, a general evaluation has been made on how the subject of death in Turkish poetry progressed, and then how the poet has dealt with the theme of death in his poetry titled Our Book of Heaven.
