Bu çalışmanın amacı, yedinci sınıf öğrencilerinin öz yeterlik düzeylerini belirlemektir. Araştırmada, nicel araştırma yönteminin özelliklerine uygun olarak, "tarama deseni" kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Kayseri'nin Melikgazi ilçesinde bir devlet okulundan 337 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada “Fen Bilimleri Dersi Öz yeterlik Ölçeği (FBÖÖ)” kullanılmıştır. FBÖÖ’nün geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde MANOVA ve MANCOVA kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda yedinci sınıf öğrencilerinin fen bilimleri öz yeterlik düzeyi “yüksek” çıkmıştır. Üç faktör bağlamında kızlar ve erkekler arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. “Fen bilimlerine güven” faktörü kontrol altındayken kızlar ve erkeklerin arasında her iki bağımlı değişken (“fen bilimlerinde zorluklarla başa çıkabilme” faktörü ve “fen bilimleri performansına güven” faktörü) açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark yoktur. Sonuçlara dayanarak, sonuç ve tartışma ayrıntılı olarak yapılmıştır. Son olarak, öneriler sunulmuştur.
The aim of this study is to determine the levels of self-qualification of the seventh grade students. In the research, according to the characteristics of the quantum research method, the "suching pattern" was used. The sample of the study consists of 337 students from a state school in Kayseri's Melikgazi district. In the study, the "Fen Science Course Self-Competence Scale (FBÖ)" was used. The fbc’s validity and reliability work has been done. The analysis of the data has been used by MANOVA and MANCOVA. As a result of the study, the level of competence in science of the students of the seventh class "high" came out. In the context of the three factors, a statistically significant difference was found between girls and men. While the "confidence in science" factor is under control, there is no statistically meaningful difference between girls and men in terms of both dependent variables ("confidence in science's challenges" and "confidence in science's performance"). Based on the results, the result and discussion were made in detail. Finally, the recommendations were presented.
