Abstract:

Visual design is as important as content in publishing products such as newspapers, magazines, books. Specifically in the publication where the competition takes place in time, the writing of the news, the correction and achievement of the final form and the preparation of the appropriate headlines and notes are carried out in a very short time period. In this fast pace, the label must be well prepared in terms of readability and aesthetics. In order to be able to do successful work in terms of readability, it is necessary to know the anatomical structure of the writers, the numerous type of writing (font) and the most suitable design options. Typographic (writing) elements, after writing with the help of the keyboard, are subjected to various processes in terms of readability and aesthetics. These processes are called typographical design. The beginning of computer technologies to be used in the field of mathematics and publishing has provided a wide range of possibilities for graphic design and typographic design processes, which is a subwork. The important thing is to get the best by combining these technological possibilities and the accumulation of knowledge. In the article, the manuscripts of the different newspapers randomly selected, the preferred elements used in the typographic design process, and the readability analysis were made.
