Abstract:

This article is the story of the social life spaces formed during the establishment period as the capital of Ankara, which was previously one of the regional centers of the country. These areas are formed according to the purpose of the Republic, the places of organization, the function or the process of natural formation given in the construction plans. The founders of the Republic have given special attention to the establishment of green spaces and social living spaces in their urbanization plans and practices. But from 1938 to today, these areas have been dismantled by various governments for different purposes, their structures have been destroyed, and they have been removed from the purpose of serving the public. In the article, there is also a description of the social life areas of Ankara which have not been so much written so far; in this area, various entertainment, shows, theatres, revulers and operetes are presented.
