So many results that aren't mine?

Öğretmenlerin Mesleki Motivasyonlarına İlişkin Görüşlerin İncelenmesi

Abstract:

Bu araştırmada, Türkiye’deki öğretmen motivasyonuna yönelik anaokulu, ilköğretim ve lise gibi kademelerde görev yapmakta olan öğretmenlerin görüşlerinin alınıp analiz edilmesi ve bu analiz doğrultusunda öğretmenlerin mesleki motivasyonlarına etki eden etmenlere odaklanılmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yaklaşımı tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını devlet okullarında görev yapmakta olan 60 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır.  Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada toplanan veriler içerik analizi ile analiz edilmiştir. İkinci aşamada ise veriler analiz sonucunda tema ve alt temalara ayrılarak kategorize edilmiştir. Verilerin çözümlenmesi sonucu elde edilen bulgular, ilgili literatüre dayanarak tartışılmış ve araştırmanın amaçları doğrultusunda sonuç ve tartışma oluşturulmuştur. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre katılımcılar mesleki motivasyonlarını okul ortamı, okul yöneticilerinin davranışları, teknolojik alt yapı, öğrencinin hazırbulunuşluk düzeyi, öğrencinin iletişim şekli ve uzaktan eğitimin etkilediği yönünde görüş belirtmişlerdir.

Examination Of Teachers' Opinions On Professional Motivation

In this study, the views of teachers working at levels such as kindergarten, primary school and high school on teacher motivation in Turkey were taken and analyzed, and in line with this analysis, the factors affecting teachers' professional motivation were focused. In this study, which aims to reveal the factors affecting the professional motivation of teachers, a phenomenological design, one of the qualitative research approaches, was used. The participants of the research are 60 teachers working in public schools. In the study, a structured interview form developed by the researchers was used as a data collection tool. The data collected in the research were transferred to the computer environment at the first stage and analyzed by content analysis. In the second stage, the data were categorized by dividing them into themes and sub-themes as a result of the analysis. The findings obtained as a result of the analysis of the data were discussed based on the relevant literature and a conclusion and discussion was formed in line with the purposes of the research. According to the results of the research, the participants stated that their professional motivation was affected by the school environment, the behavior of the school administrators, the technological infrastructure, the level of readiness of the student, the way of communication of the student and the distance education.
