Values owned by a society are also effective on eating and drinking habits as lifestyle of the communities. It is a fact that different societies have different cultures. Turkish society also shows differences from other communities about varieties of food, taste and characteristics. Turkish culinary culture is one of the world’s major cuisines. In Turkey rooted and multifaceted culinary culture is experienced. Turkish culinary culture will be examined in a historical period which based on Middle Asia and continued until today. The reasons such as the range of products offered by the territory of Anatolia and Asia, the interaction with other cultures throughout history, the presence of new evolving tastes in Seljuk and Ottoman palaces and Anatolian cuisine played a role in the diversification and shaping of the today’s Turkish culinary culture. In this study, state of Turkish culinary culture will be introduced in the historical process and various aspects of it will be discussed
