The aim of the study was to analyze and categorize all the 598 goals scored in the Futsal World Cup, Eurocup and Copa América, seeking to collect relevant data to the game itself. The 111 games of these three competitions were watched, with data collection happening in real time and later during TV and official internet channels transmissions. According to the data obtained, the goals scored in positional attack were the majority in the three competitions, representing the best way to attack in Futsal. The goals of dead ball situation remain increasingly decisive, representing 25% of the total. The number of goals scored in defensive errors is lower in the World Cup and the Euro Cup than in the Copa América, showing that South American Futsal is a game more susceptible to errors. Goals scored in goalkeeper-line game, whether attacking or defending, are also similar in numbers in the World Cup and Eurocup, while in the Copa América you scored more goals when you’re attacking than defending. This South American imbalance in the Goalkeeper-line game can be fatal in a possible showdown against European teams. Analyzing how goals were scored allows a better visualization of the development of the Futsal game, especially when it comes to the biggest competitions of the sport involving national teams. This data can create training and game trends for the next world cycle (4 years), allowing a more visible analysis of how Europeans and South Americans play.
