Abstract:

Risk pregnancy increases the risk of morbidity and mortality of the mother and fetus. Women at risk of pregnancy experience anxiety and stress for many reasons, such as health problems, uncertainty, hospitalization, leaving the family and their baby. As the safety of the pregnancy is in danger in a dangerous situation, the pregnancy is afraid to communicate with the fetus and the connection can be negatively affected. High anxiety during pregnancy and weak prenatal bonds have a negative impact on pregnancy and fetus health. Some practices such as social support during pregnancy, listening to music or speaking, yoga, meditation have been to both reduce anxiety and increase prenatal connectivity. The nurse has many roles, such as educator, role model, consultant, and resource person, in order to cope with dangerous conditions of the premature pregnancy, to connect with the fetus in a healthy way and to preserve his mental health. Nurses should take advantage of evidence-based practices in order to determine and monitor the level of anxiety and connection of risky pregnancies, to reduce anxiety and to increase prenatal connection, taking into account the possible harmful effects of anxiety and insufficient maternal connection on pregnancy and fetus.
