Abstract:

This research aims to carry out the thesis research and determine their demands with the problems they mainly encounter in the thesis writing process and determine the qualifications they need to gain based on the solutions recommendations according to the opinions of international participating field experts. During the research process, graduate students have been determined to have problems with subjects such as determining the thesis subject, determining the appropriate method, linking the method with the application process, structuring a visual-oriented approach in the application process. In the framework of the opinions of the field experts, the demands of graduate students to develop a perspective focused on art practices in the method determination process were focused on. In this context, the qualifications that graduate students need to gain are defined as visual interpretation, visual collection/documentation, visual creation/creation and visual presentation-oriented research methods and approaches.
