Kavramlar doğru anlamlandırılmadığı takdirde meselelerin anlaşılması noktasında yanlış sonuçlara varmanın kaçınılmaz olduğu bir hakikattir. Fıtrat kavramı bu manada insanın neliği bağlamında başat kavram olarak her daim farklı değerlendirmelere konu olmuştur. İnsanın, gerek kendisini var eden Allah ile olan ilişkisi gerekse hemcinsleriyle ve içerisinde yaşadığı âlemle ilişkisi çerçevesinde bu kavramın anlam alanının tespiti yine ait olduğu dünya üzerinden yapıldığı zaman konu hakkında doğru sonuçların elde edilmesine imkân tanıyacaktır. Kur’ân ve hadislerde yerini bulan fıtrat kavramının anlam alanına yönelik çalışmaların bu alanlarda derinlemesine tahlili noktasında söz konusu metinleri, kendi iç bütünlükleri ve birbirleriyle olan ilişkileri bağlamında meseleyi ele alması, en sağlıklı yol olacaktır. Bu çalışmada kavramın önce sözlük anlamı, türevleri üzerinden ele alınmış daha sonra Kur’ân ve hadislerde geçtiği durumları, belirtilen usûl üzerinden değerlendirmeye tâbi tutulmuştur. Sonuç olarak luğavî anlamı da dikkate alınarak fıtrat kavramı ile Kur’ân’da insanın Allah’la ilişkisine, hadislerde ise insanın doğasındaki sâfiyete ve insanlarla olan ilişkisinde dikkat gerektiren yönüne vurgu yapıldığı ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır.
If the concepts are not correctly understood, it is inevitable to get wrong results at the point of understanding of the issues. The concept of Fitrate has always been subject to different assessments in the context of the quality of the human being. If the human being is in a relationship with God who has his own existence, it will be possible to obtain the right results about the subject when the discovery of the meaning of this concept is made through the world where it belongs again. In the Qur’an and the Qur’an, the knowledge of the meaning of the concept of fithrat will be the healthiest way to address the issue in the context of the relevant texts, their inner integrity and their relationships with each other, in the profound analysis of these fields. In this study, the concept of the dictionary has been discussed through its derivatives and then the circumstances passed through the Qur’an and the hadiths, and it has been followed by the assessment by the indicated procedure. As a result, the logical meaning is also taken into account and the phytat concept and the Qur’an is shown to emphasize the relationship of man with God, and in the hadiths the nature of man and the direction that requires attention in the relationship with man.
It is a proven fact that if not ascribed the proper meaning to concepts, reaching wrong conclusions is inevitable in terms of understanding subject matters. Qua principal concept within the context of the whatness of (hu)man, in that sense, the concept of fitra [from the Arabic فطرة ‘instinct, creation; natural, primordial purity’] has always been the subject of multifarious assessments. Ascertaining the semantic vicinity of this concept — within the frame of man’s relationship both with his creator and with the fellow creature of the same kind and the universe alike, wherein he lives — when done, again, through the world he is part of could allow yielding correct conclusions as to this subject. For the researches into the semantic vicinity of the concept fitra that finds its place in The Quran [Arabic: القرآن, romanised: al-Qurʼān] and Aḥādīth [Arabic: حديث ʾḥādīṯ, pl. أحاديث, ʾaḥādīṯ], in point of its in-depth analysis in these scopes, it would be the healthiest way to treat the matter within the context of the inner integrity of the texts in question as well as the relationship between them. In this study, first the lexical meaning of the concept via derivatives thereof was addressed and later, by way of the mentioned method, the cases within which it passes in The Quran and Aḥādīth were elevated. As a consequence, with its philological meaning having also been taken into consideration, it was sought to be presented that by the concept of fitra in The Quran, man’s relationship with Allah is emphasised and, as far as Aḥādīth are concerned, the purity in nature of man and the aspect demanding circumspection in his relationship with men.
