Abstract:

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, tüketicilerin ekolojik zekâları ile organik gıda tüketim eğilimleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Bu ilişki, içinde bulundukları dönemler itibarıyla önemli benzerlikler gösteren kuşaklar arasındaki farklılıklar temel alınarak incelenmektedir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda anket yöntemi kullanılarak 626 tüketiciye ulaşılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda tüketicilerin organik gıda tüketim eğilimleri ve ekolojik zekâları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Aynı zamanda tüketicilerin organik gıda tüketim eğilimlerinin kuşaklar arasında anlamlı bir farklılık gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. Z kuşağı tüketicileri, diğer kuşaklara göre daha düşük organik gıda tüketim eğilimi göstermektedirler. Elde edilen bu sonuçlar doğrultusunda işletmelere ve araştırmacılara çeşitli öneriler geliştirilmiştir. Bu çalışma, ulusal ve uluslararası literatürde ilk olma özelliği taşıması açısından önem taşımaktadır

Abstract:

The main objective of this study is to study the relationship between consumer’s ecological intelligence and organic food consumption trends. This relationship is studied on the basis of the differences between generations that show significant similarities according to the periods in which they are. In this context, 626 users were reached using the survey method. The analysis has shown that there is a meaningful relationship between consumers’ organic food consumption trends and their ecological intelligence. It has also been found that consumers' organic food consumption trends show significant differences between generations. Generation Z consumers tend to have a lower organic food consumption than other generations. In line with these results, various recommendations have been developed to and researchers. This study is important in terms of being the first in national and international literature.
