Bu araştırmanın amacı ortaokul öğrencilerinin özet çıkarmada yaşadıkları sorunlara ilişkin Türkçe öğretmenlerinin görüşlerinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden betimsel model kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim yılında Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı okullarda görev yapan 35 ortaokul Türkçe öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri, yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formuna Türkçe öğretmenlerinin vermiş oldukları yanıtlardan elde edilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında amaca uygun olarak araştırmacı tarafından 5 maddeden oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu hazırlanmıştır. Görüşme formunun hazırlanmasında uzman görüşünden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen veriler, içerik analizi ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin analizinde istatistiksel işlemlerden yüzde kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; Türkçe öğretmenlerinin %97’sinin ortaokul öğrencilerinin özet çıkarmada sorunlar yaşadığını, %57’sinin öğrencilere özetin nasıl çıkarılacağını onlara örnek özet metinler üzerinden anlatılmadığını, %51’inin özetleme yaparken öğrencilerin olay örüntüsünü bozduğunu,%86’sının öğrencilerin özetleme yaparken konunun tamamını anlatma eğiliminde olduğunu, %89’unun öğrencilerin özetleme yaparken kendi cümleleri yerine daha çok yazara ait cümleleri kullandığını düşündükleri tespit edilmiştir.
The purpose of this research is to study the views of Turkish teachers on the problems they experience in the summary of high school students. In the research methods of quality research have been used imagistic models. The research work group consists of 35 high school Turkish teachers who work in schools associated with the Ministry of Education in the 2020-2021 educational year. The study group was determined by the easy-to-access sample method. The data of the study were obtained from the answers of the Turkish teachers to the semi-configured interview form. In the framework of the research, the researchers have prepared a semi-configured interview form consisting of 5 articles according to the purpose. Expert opinion was used in the preparation of the interview form. The data obtained from the research results were analyzed by content analysis. Percentage of statistical processes were used in the analysis of the data obtained in the study. According to the study, 97% of Turkish teachers have problems with high school students, 57% of students have not been told them how to draw the summary through sample summary texts, 51% of students disrupt the event sample while making summary, 86% of students tend to tell the whole subject while making summary, 89% of students think they use more authors' phrases instead of their own phrases when making summary.
